KOTA KINABALU: Sabah swimmer Emmanuel Loh Yung Ming made waves at Sukma XXII Selangor 2026 when he clinched gold in the men’s 50-metre breaststroke at the Darul Ehsan Aquatic Centre.

His victory carried historic weight for Sabah, ending an almost eight-year drought in Sukma swimming. The last gold came at Sukma Perak 2018, when Hollymax Bell won the men’s 100m butterfly in 56.55 seconds.

Sabah Golf is back on the SUKMA podium! 🏆

A massive congratulations to our very own Jamie Tan Huan Ying for winning the SILVER MEDAL in the Women’s Individual Golf event at SUKMA XXII Selangor 2026! ⛳️✨

Competing against the country’s best young golfers at Glenmarie Golf & Country Club, Jamie delivered an outstanding performance across three rounds, finishing runner-up with a score of 3-over-par 219.

This is more than just a medal...

Jamie’s achievement marks a historic moment for Sabah Golf, ending a 14-year wait for a SUKMA golf medal for Sabah.

Her remarkable performance is a testament to her dedication, discipline and determination, and a proud moment for everyone who has supported her journey in golf.

AEC Swim Teaching Certification – Level 1 🏊‍♂️

Interested in becoming a certified swim teacher? We're pleased to share that STA Malaysia will be conducting the AEC Swim Teaching Certification – Level 1 at Sabah Golf & Country Club.

This comprehensive 3-day certification program is designed to equip aspiring swim teachers with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to begin their teaching journey.
