🌧️ URGENT: MONSOON SEASON ALERT 2024/2025 🚨

MetMalaysia has announced the Northeast Monsoon will begin this November 5th. Let's prepare ourselves and our families NOW before the heavy rains arrive.

Suggested Essential Preparation Steps:
✅ Store enough non-perishable food and drinking water for at least 1 week
✅ Prepare an emergency kit with flashlights, batteries, first-aid supplies
✅ Keep important documents in waterproof containers
✅ Clear drains around your property
✅ Have emergency contact numbers ready
✅ Keep power banks fully charged
✅ Prepare evacuation bags for each family member

High-risk areas (Nov-Dec 2024):
• Kelantan
• Terengganu
• Pahang
• Johor
• Sarawak
• Sabah

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Rotary Club of Luyang for their generous sponsorship of a high-power water jet to the Sabah Disaster Preparedness Association (SDPA) a few years back. This equipment is now being put to good use, helping clean properties affected by the recent Penampang flood. Many homes and places of worship were covered with mud, and SDPA has lent the water jet to Dream Centre to aid in their cleaning and relief efforts. Together, we’re making a positive impact in our community!
