The Borneo Safari International OFF-ROAD Challenge is an exclusive and upbeat Eight-Day 4WD expedition through Northern Borneo, covering 1000 km of some of the most challenging and varied OFF-ROAD terrains in the world.
“The concept of the Borneo Safari Expedition, unique in motor sport, is that of an adventure track with 4WDs through some of the world’s most incredibly beautiful yet most agonizingly difficult jungle terrains.”

The Borneo Safari is designed as a competitive expedition to bring out the spirit of adventure, teamwork, skillful and safe driving and to bring out the very best in man and machine. The participants will travel through the mountains and valleys and cross the streams and rivers; they will have their endurance, stamina and skill tested to the limit. The Borneo Safari is a unique adventure where all participants, whether men or women enthusiasts or professional, have an equal chance of winning.

The jungles, rivers and tracks are what fuel our passion for offroading. Let’s tread lightly, respect the land and leave only tyre tracks behind, so that future generations can experience the same breathtaking beauty and adventure that we do today.

For the past several months, the Scout & Recce Team have been trekking in and out of the jungles of Tongod, exploring, scouting and uncovering new and exciting tacks for BS2026.

This year, multiple tracks will be opened to accommodate all teams, allowing the convoy to move more efficiently while keeping the adventure, challenge and excitement of Borneo Safari very much alive.

7 weeks before we kick off Borneo Safari
2026 with a 2 day prologue at the Hakka Hall, Kota Kinabalu for sponsor booths and competition car scrutineering on the 23rd and 24th October, with the participant briefing on the 24th morning.

Flag off will be held on the 25th morning at the frontage of the Sabah Tourism Board Building on Gaya Street, where the iconic 0KM marker is located
