The flat 18-hole par-72 golf course layout could provide an enjoyable round of social golf. Keningau Golf & Country Club was established in 1966 and is situated at Jalan Luagan, Kampung Pasir Putih about 2 km from Keningau town. Keningau derived its name from 'Kondingau' a native name from 'Kayu Manis'. Keningau is the largest town in the upper interior of Sabah and is situated at 520'N - 11610'E.

Keningau could be reached from Kota Kinabalu the Capital of Sabah by two trunks roads via Kimanis HIghway and Tambunan road. Both the roads have to cross over the Crocker Range to reach Keningau, Sabah, Malaysia.
