Bayu Bukit Hijau, (Breeze of the Green Hills in Malay) is a private retreat which offers a peaceful and tranquil break from the hustle and bustle of everyday city life. Set amidst the lush virgin jungle of Janda Baik, Pahang, Bayu Bukit Hijau, which has a 360 degree view of the mountains that surround it, is only a short meandering drive 45 minutes from the city of Kuala Lumpur. in its infant stage, the long-term goal of Bayu Bukit Hijau is to become one of the best choice for temporary lodging by creating a differentiated experience capitalising on its unique location in one of the most attractive parts of Kampung Sum Sum Hilir. Bayu Bukit Hijau encourages its guests to relax, get back to nature and the simple quiet life which is, more often than not, forgotten in today’s busy urban lifestyle. Our aim is to instill community awareness and appreciation of the beauty and significance of the Malaysian rainforest and its eco-system through activities such as agro-tourism, tree-planting, etc. We also encourage our guests to re-use the towel and bed sheets as part of their contribution to saving the Planet. Jungle trekking to the waterfall can be arranged by our local friends (with trusted and experienced guides), or perhaps a visit to our friend’s well maintained goat farm. Guests may want to try the best goats’ milk we’ve ever had. Guests can also take a trip to our friends 'friendly' chicken farm to feed the friendly chickens or try their hand at Traditional Archery at our short course with our professional instructor. What started out as a ‘Site Office’ when we were building our home has now been transformed into a Studio Chalet with a loft. With one twin sharing bed and one single bed in the open loft, and one sofa bed in the sitting area, it can house 5 persons comfortably, or 6 persons (with an extra bed). The loft is fitted with a skylight which makes it easier to spot shooting stars on clear nights. The exterior features include a private open balcony from which you can enjoy the serenity of the magnificent view of the virgin jungles of Janda Baik. Together with the chalet, guests can enjoy a private garden where we can arrange for a barbeque upon request. FACILITIES

Should the number of guests be more than 6 persons, we would then set up our tents to accommodate. Our tents are fitted with pillows, matresses, and blankets. One is a 16-men tent, which we can make up to house from 4 persons to maximum of 8 persons. The other is an 8-men tent which we make up to house 1 to 2 persons. INTRODUCTORY PRICE
