Date: [4th April 2026]

Subject: Fuel Surcharge Implementation

Due to the recent increase in fuel prices (affected by the Iran-Israel conflict), all Redang Island dive operators will implement a fuel surcharge for diving activities.

Fuel price comparison:

RON95 Petrol: RM 2.67/L (before 3 March 2026) → RM 3.87/L (current)

Diesel: RM 3.12/L → RM 5.52/L

As a result, an additional fuel surcharge of RM10 per diver (per boat trip) will be applied.

This surcharge will take effect starting 6 April 2026 onwards. If fuel prices return to normal levels, the fuel surcharge will be removed.

Berikutan kenaikan harga bahan api (kesan konflik Iran-Israel), semua pengendali selam di Pulau Redang akan melaksanakan caj tambahan bahan api bagi aktiviti selaman.

Perbandingan harga bahan api:

Petrol RON95: RM 2.67/L (sebelum 3 Mac 2026) → RM 3.87/L (semasa)

Diesel: RM 3.12/L → RM 5.52/L

Sehubungan itu, caj tambahan bahan api sebanyak RM10 bagi setiap penyelam (setiap trip bot) akan dikenakan.

Caj ini akan berkuat kuasa mulai 6 April 2026 dan seterusnya. Sekiranya harga bahan api kembali normal, caj tambahan ini akan dibatalkan.
