What started as just words in a lecture note slowly became one of the most meaningful journeys of my life.

From not knowing what to expect, to learning, understanding, and growing alongside these amazing kids… every step has changed me in ways I never imagined.

There were challenges, there were doubts, but there were also the purest moments, the smallest breakthroughs, and the biggest smiles.

Today, I’m just grateful. Grateful to be part of their journey, to witness their progress, and to be reminded every day to see their abilities, not their labels.

They didn’t just learn from me… I learned so much more from them.

Honestly, I used to think being a swimming teacher would be super boring before joining DPS, just repeating the same lessons, same routines, every day.

But after stepping into this role, I realised it is nothing like that at all.

Yes, I still teach, but I also had the opportunity to organize events, like conducting training for kindergarten teachers. Being part of the committee opened my eyes to how much depth there is behind what we do. It is not just about techniques or drills. It is about understanding people, building trust, and constantly growing as an educator.

Great teachers are never done learning. Every sharing session, every discussion, every behind the scenes moment made me appreciate this role even more.

If you knew what really goes into being a swimming teacher, you would probably see it differently too.

Grateful for this journey, and even more excited for what is ahead 💙
And thank you for all the laughter, those little moments are what make everything feel so rewarding.

2025年度关键词 - 快乐续费

2025年的开始是忙碌的
忙着完成Master的Thesis
忙着完成一个又一个的工作目标
忙着帮助在自己的人生道路迷茫的个案
忙着教游泳
忙着写报告
每件事都在提醒自己正在成长

2025年的中段是迷茫的
Master的旅途告一段落
毕业在即 开始想人生的下一步什么
是工作？是放松？还是试试新的方向？
迷茫其实也不代表没有方向 也是一个机会让自己喘息的机会

2025年的后期是充实的
有足够的时间去把之前设想的计划落地
水中社交技能小组、特殊游泳老师课程等等的
慢慢找到生活中的节奏

这一年，忙过、迷茫过、充实过。
最重要的是，我选择了让快乐续费。
不只是完成任务，更是让生活的每一步，都值得微笑。

2025年度总结:

The Beginning | Busy
2025 started off busy.
Finishing my Master’s thesis,
Ticking off one work goal after another,
Supporting clients who were feeling lost in life,
Teaching swimming,
Writing reports.
Every little thing reminded me that I was growing.

Mid-Year | A Bit Lost
As my Master’s journey came to an end,
and graduation approached, I began to wonder:
What’s next?
Work? Rest? Or try something new?
I realized that being a bit lost doesn’t mean having no direction, sometimes it’s just a chance to pause and catch my breath.

The End | Fulfilling
By the end of the year,
I finally had time to put the plans I had imagined into action:
social skills aquatic groups,
special needs swimming teacher courses…
Slowly, I found my own pace in life.

This year, I was busy, I was unsure, and I was fulfilled.
Most importantly,
I chose to keep my joy.
Not just ticking off tasks,
but making every step in life worth smiling about.
