KARNIVAL BAKAT KEBANGSAAN SELANGOR SIRI 01/2024

Karnival Bakat Kebangsaan kembali lagi pada 28 Februari hingga 3 Mac 2024 di sekitar Shah Alam, Selangor. Karnival kali ini menawarkan 4 jenis sukan yang dipertandingkan, antaranya Angkat Berat, Memanah, Ping Pong dan Wushu. Ayuh hadir dan beri sokongan kepada atlet-atlet cilik kita!

We would like to wish everyone a very Happy New Year from our entire team at the Arnold Sports Festival.

We would also like to take this opportunity to encourage all the bodybuilding and fitness enthusiasts across the globe to please be kind to the new faces we will all soon be seeing at the gym.

While some may see the busy parking lots, the crowded gym floors, and the longer waits for equipment as an inconvenience, we ask that you also recognize that all these things are a direct result of new people stepping outside their comfort zones in an attempt to better themselves.

We know that not everyone who shows up at the gym for the first time on January 1st will stick with it, but we also know that a little bit of kindness, patience, and encouragement can go a long way in helping people stay resilient in the pursuit of their goals.

Lending a helping hand, giving a friendly piece of advice, sharing words of encouragement, or even something as simple as a “hi” and a smile can make a monumental difference to someone that may be struggling with their new goals or just their confidence in an unfamiliar environment.

Setting goals is an integral part of achieving success in the gym, and we hope everyone sets theirs incredibly high for 2023. We just ask that you add being kind to that list of goals.

Be the reason someone doesn’t give up in 2023.

Here performing rear delt raises with 85lb dumbbells… with strict form. This was an ‘on the road’ workout, post Olympia 1995.

It's all about how much you put into your workouts!

For most of the career, I trained each body part roughly once per week... believe me, that was enough!

If done properly, once per week is more than enough. The DOMS I used to get the days after training legs in particular would last for 4-5 days... then it'd nearly be time to do it all again! Most people throw up when they train legs for the first time with me!

Over the years, I'd often show people my workout on paper and they’d say: “That’s barely anything, that’s easy!”

So I'd reply reply: “Ok, but come and do it. Come and train and let’s see if you wanna do more when we’re done.”

The rest is history.

Acara tahunan KBS ini adalah bertujuan untuk merealisasikan hasrat dan aspirasi kerajaan untuk menggalak dan menjadikan Malaysia negara yang mempunyai rakyat yang sentiasa bersukan serta menjadikan sukan sebagai satu budaya.

Adherence towards prevention and control measures of COVID-19 which was endorsed by the government, DK Gym & Fitness will always make sure to take precautions to prevent the spread of the harmful virus. Our staffs need to practice social distancing, utilize reservations to avoid problems with over-capacity, and we also disinfecting and sanitizing our fitness facility once in a week.
