Open to dancers in the **Johor area**, ages **7–18 years old**.
Categories include **Ballet, Contemporary, and Chinese Dance**.

🩰 Train Contemporary with NAFA School of Dance

Asia City Dance Academy is excited to welcome faculty from the NAFA School of Dance (University of the Arts Singapore) for a special Contemporary Dance Workshop.

This is a rare opportunity for dancers to experience NAFA’s contemporary technique training, explore dynamic movement phrases, and gain insight into the professional training environment of one of Singapore’s leading arts institutions.

Whether you are passionate about contemporary dance or curious about studying dance at a higher level, this workshop will give you a glimpse into how dancers train at NAFA.

Asia City Dance Academy 很荣幸邀请来自 NAFA 舞蹈学院（University of the Arts Singapore） 的导师来到学院，举办一场 Contemporary Dance Workshop 当代舞/现代舞工作坊。

这是一次非常难得的机会，让舞者亲身体验 NAFA 的当代舞/现代舞训练方式。在课程中，你将学习 contemporary technique、movement phrases，并感受国际艺术学院的专业训练环境。

如果你热爱当代舞/现代舞，或者对未来在专业舞蹈学院继续深造感兴趣，这将是一个非常好的体验机会。

Throwback to a meaningful exchange ✨

At the end of December, students from Johor and Penang came together for a dance exchange workshop between our academy and ALLE Académie de Danze.
·
The workshop focused on contemporary dance and improvisational choreography, led by our Director Mr. Mack, encouraging students to explore movement, creativity, and personal expression, alongside ballet guidance by Ms. Annie. Through intensive 3-hour sessions, students from both academies shared ideas, trained together, and learned through collaboration.

This video captures moments from the workshop, as well as a performance highlight where our academy’s students presented “Obsession”, a contemporary work choreographed personally by Mr. Mack, at the Penang Loft 29 on 23 December.

From studio exchange to stage presentation,
this Johor–Penang collaboration became a meaningful journey of learning, creativity, and connection.
