Alireza Abbasi: Iran’s national futsal team is the first chance to win the 2026 AFC Asian Cup.

Alireza Abbasi, a famous and international figure in futsal, believes: Iran’s national futsal team is the first chance to win the 2026 AFC Asian Cup, and of course, he called the Indonesian national futsal team the surprise of the cup.

Hector Soto, the head coach of the Indonesian team, has transformed this team and introduced it as a contender in Asia, and I am happy that it has added to the attractiveness of the tournament. I enjoyed their game in the semi-final against Japan, where they appeared brave and hard-working and achieved superiority.
Regarding the game of the Iranian national futsal team against Iraq, I must say that the Iraqi team also appeared different with its new coach and could have dragged the game into extra time, and I congratulate Asian futsal on this progress.
Iran played in the Indonesia Arena Stadium for the first time in this tournament. This is the main hall of the competition and is of high quality, which increased the performance of the players.
The final match between Iran and Indonesia will be very interesting and tense, and I am sure we will witness a game full of dangerous chances on goal.
I think the Iranian national futsal team will be the champion of this tournament.
