Today marks a special milestone for Southside MMA.

Congratulations to Johor's first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Black Belt, Coach Nawi, an achievement that inspires everyone on the mats.

A huge congratulations as well to Jason on earning his Purple Belt, and to everyone who received their stripes. Every promotion represents the hours of training, discipline, resilience, and dedication you've put in.

We're proud of how far each of you has come. Let's keep showing up, keep learning, and continue striving for higher standards-together, we'll keep getting better.

Big day out at MGL & Malaysian National Trials (7 Feb - 8 Feb 2026)
Some wins.
Some losses.
Plenty of lessons.
That’s the fight game.
Proud of the team for stepping up, testing themselves, and embracing the trials & tribulations that come with competing. Medals came home, experience was gained, and most importantly - we levelled up.
Good to catch up with the community, meet old friends, and have fun doing what we love.
Back to the mats. We build again.

Wins were earned, losses were learned from, and the experience was priceless. Nothing but respect for the courage it takes to compete, no matter the result.

Good people, good fights, great atmosphere. Proud of the squad and thankful for the journey we’re on together.

Ultimate Beatdown was one for the books.
4 of our own stepping in from all over the world - Russia, UK, Korea, Singapore. Different flags, same heart.

Some wins, some tough lessons, but every single one showed up and left it all out there. That’s what matters. The effort, the courage, the vibes, the team energy.

Proud of every one of you. Grateful for the experience, the memories, and the people. We grow from all of it. On to the next.
