We want to raise immediate awareness within the sports community regarding a recent fraudulent booking and impersonation attempt targeting our facility, Master Badminton Club (MBC) Gunung Rapat.
🔍 What Happened:
Recently, an individual contacted our management via WhatsApp, falsely introducing themselves as an administrative assistant from a government youth and sports department. They attempted to secure a bulk booking of our facilities for an upcoming tournament. Under the pretext of preparing government electronic payment documentation, they requested our company registration (SSM) and banking details before completely cutting off communication. Our team immediately conducted a physical verification with the official department. They confirmed that while the employee’s name exists, no such booking was ever authorized or requested by their office.
⚠️ IMPORTANT ADVICE FOR PLAYERS & THE PUBLIC:
We strongly advise all sports clubs, teams, and players to carefully check and verify all tournament details before making any registrations or payments. Do not transfer tournament fees or registration funds to unverified individual bank accounts. Always cross-verify event legitimacy directly with the host facility management before making financial commitments.
