What a solid performance by the Legends! 💪

Kuala Ketil Sharks batted first and were bowled out for 127 runs in 18.3 overs. Tight bowling and good fielding effort kept the pressure on throughout the innings.

In reply, RTU Legends 98 chased down the target comfortably, finishing at 133/3 in 17.5 overs.

Great teamwork, disciplined bowling and a strong batting finish sealed the victory for RTU Legends 98!

🏏 Once a Cricketer, Always a Cricketer! 🏏

This saying has truly come to life with the RTU Legends 98..A group of passionate ex-Raja Tun Uda school leavers ranging from pioneers to juniors, who have returned to the sport after 25 years!

But our comeback wasn’t just about playing matches, it was about giving back to the school where our cricket journey began.

We are proud to announce our return to SMK Raja Tun Uda, taking on the mission to revive the school’s long lost cricket program.

The training nettings, built in 1997 and abandoned since 2012, were our first focus.
On a purely voluntary basis, the RTU Legends 98 Cricket Club members poured in their time, manpower, financial support, supplying materials and equipment to restore the nets.

In just two days, the training nets were brought back to top condition! Some external work, like ground leveling and overgrown tree removal, is still pending and has been escalated to the school, PCA and PPD for follow-up.

With the school year now underway, it’s heartwarming to see so many students eager to pick up cricket, with wonderful support from the teachers.

A huge thank you to all our club members who made this first mission a resounding success. And this is just the beginning as we have more exciting plans lined up and will continue sharing updates right here on our official page!

We have not only able to play as one but we have recollected back memories with our previous coaches and trainers.
