梹城羽球总会官方声明

针对 Teh Han Siew 先生与 Lim Shee Ning 女士于2026年4月7日发表的声明，槟城羽毛球总会（PBA）谨此作出回应与说明。

槟城羽总在此澄清，所有涉及球员注册与所属州属更动的相关事务，均由马来西亚羽毛球总会（BAM）全权负责与管辖。

就Jaryl Teh一事，其注册由布城更动至槟城，乃由BAM依据既定政策及相关程序所作出的决定。有关政策已于2025年10月18日的BAM理事会议中讨论并议决通过，并据此执行。所有相关安排均由BAM按照既定机制处理。

槟城羽总一向遵循并尊重BAM所制定的各项政策与指南。

基于推动羽球发展及培育年轻球员的宗旨，相关方面此前已为该球员提供参与赛事的机会，包括安排其参加Jet 2赛事，并提供相应的训练支持。

我们理解各方对此课题或存在不同看法。无论如何，本会将继续专注于为年轻球员打造良好且具制度化的发展环境。

在符合相关政策与条件的前提下，该球员未来仍可代表槟城参与赛事。

本会立场一贯与BAM政策保持一致，并已向相关人士作出说明。

本会保留一切相关权利。

𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐏𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

We refer to the statement issued by Mr. Teh Han Siew and Madam Lim Shee Ning dated 7 April 2026.

The Penang Badminton Association (PBA) wishes to clarify that all matters relating to player registration and state affiliation fall under the jurisdiction and authority of the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM).

In the case of Jaryl Teh, the update of his registration from Putrajaya to Penang was carried out by BAM in accordance with its established policies and procedures. The relevant policy was deliberated and approved at the BAM Council Meeting on 18 October 2025, and has since been implemented accordingly. All related arrangements are administered by BAM in line with its established mechanisms.

PBA remains committed to adhering to all policies and guidelines set by BAM.
As part of ongoing efforts to support the development of young talent, opportunities have been extended to the player to participate in competitions, including the Jet 2 tournament, as well as to benefit from structured training support.

We acknowledge that there may be differing views on this matter. Nevertheless, our focus remains on providing a supportive and structured environment for the growth and welfare of young athletes.

In line with this, the player remains welcome to participate in future tournaments representing Penang, subject to applicable policies and circumstances.

Our position is consistent with BAM’s policies and has been communicated to the relevant parties.
