Penang, 4 July 2026 โ The Penang Badminton Association (PBA) successfully organized Durian, Rambutan & Mangosteen Feast at the PBA Office, bringing together committee members, distinguished badminton officials, and special guests from Korea for an afternoon filled with friendship, networking, and the enjoyment of Malaysiaโs favourite tropical fruits.
The gathering was graciously hosted by Datuk Kah Kau Kiak, President of the Penang Badminton Association, who warmly welcomed all attendees. The event was specially arranged to appreciate the dedication and contributions of the PBA committee members while strengthening the close ties between badminton associations and valued partners.
Among the distinguished guests were Dato Chong Juong Chain, President of the Johor Badminton Association, Mr Aโamar Hashim, President of the Perlis Badminton Association, Mr Zulkefle Mohd Nor, Secretary of the Perlis Badminton Association, and Mr Loh Foo San, Secretary of the Kedah Badminton Association. Their attendance reflected the strong friendship and cooperation shared among the state badminton associations.
The event was further honoured by the presence of special guests from P.LAB Korea, namely Nam Ha Lim, Kim Bo Weon, Lee Ji An, and Do Hee Jeong. They were accompanied by Sui Li Jing and Han Yong Nam, who served as the China translators, helping to foster meaningful interactions among all participants.
Guests were treated to an abundant selection of premium durians, fresh rambutans, and sweet mangosteens, creating a festive atmosphere throughout the afternoon. The feast was filled with laughter, lively conversations, and opportunities for guests to strengthen friendships while enjoying the rich flavours of Malaysiaโs renowned tropical fruits.
The gathering was a resounding success, with everyone sharing memorable moments in a warm and relaxed environment. Beyond enjoying the delicious fruits, the occasion further reinforced the spirit of unity, mutual respect, and collaboration among badminton leaders, committee members, and P.LAB Korea representatives.
