Cool moment seeing two of my students get their PhD papers officially published! 📚

Join Dr. Martin Refalo (PhD in Exercise Science & Comp Prep Coach) and Anthony Viglione (Principal Physiotherapist at JPS Health & Fitness) for a deep dive into strategic movement selection during comp prep. Couldn't be prouder of Amal Davis wrapping up her debut bodybuilding season, placing in all her Fit Model classes across two shows and walking away with some first-place finishes.

For years, bodybuilding has just been a way of life for Amal...it’s never been about an endpoint or being competitive, but simply a way of showing up each day and training to better yourself. For a long time, she just lived it. Late last year, we decided to take that foundation and make it competitive.

What I respect most is how Amal integrated prep into her life, rather than forcing her life to fit around prep. Balancing her work, her family, and everything else on her plate, she made it work day in and day out.

Amal worked hard, used each day to learn more about her body, asked the right questions, and most importantly, genuinely embraced the process. From a wedding prep, pregnancy, a photo shoot prep, and now finally, stepping into a competitive season - it has been a massive journey.

It's an absolute pleasure coaching her and helping her get the most out of her mind and body. Onto the next 🚀
