Safe teaching is part of good teaching. 💙🏊‍♀️

This AUSTSWIM video really resonates with me because creating a safe and supportive environment for children is something I practise in every lesson at Aqua Swim Academy.

Teaching children to swim is not only about strokes, breathing and water skills. It is also about making sure every child feels safe, respected, comfortable and supported throughout their learning journey.

Even the smallest details — how we provide physical assistance, how we communicate with a child, and how we maintain appropriate and visible interactions — matter.

As a swim teacher, child safety will always come first. 💙

I’m happy to share this important reminder from AUSTSWIM with fellow swim teachers, parents and anyone involved in children’s swimming.
