📢 A LITTLE NOTE ABOUT OUR OPEN DOUBLES FORMAT 🏓
We’ve heard some concerns about having no gender restriction, especially whether ladies may be at a disadvantage against men.
But here’s why we chose this format. ❤️
Ladies are not necessarily weaker than men. Pickleball is not only about power — placement, consistency, strategy and teamwork matter just as much.
We also set the minimum age at 50 years old for a reason. This helps prevent much younger, faster and more aggressive players from entering the category. With everyone being 50+, we expect the overall pace of play to be more balanced and enjoyable.
And most importantly, you’re getting a LOT of games for RM90 per pair! 🔥
🎾 Round 1: 6 pairs in each group
➡️ Every pair plays 5 Round-Robin matches.
🏆 Top 4 from each group advance
➡️ If you make it through with a combination of skill, consistency and maybe a little luck, you still get to play another 3 matches in Round 2!
🔥 And yes — all matches are played to 21 points, giving everyone plenty of time and chances to compete.
So don't worry too much about who is stronger or who hits harder.
Bring your best partner, play smart, stay positive and let the game decide. 😉
