🩰 What is RAD Intermediate Foundation?

After completing RAD Grade 5, students may progress to RAD Intermediate Foundation, which is the first level of the RAD Vocational Graded Syllabus.

At this stage, the training becomes more advanced and focuses on developing stronger technique, artistry, musicality, flexibility, strength, coordination and performance quality.

✨ It is also commonly the stage where students begin pointe work under the guidance and assessment of their ballet teacher. Pointe shoes should only be started when the student has developed sufficient strength, correct alignment and appropriate technical readiness.
