Seeing this, makes me think how important is CPR (cardio pulmonary resuscitation). Of late been seeing a lot of these cases whereby people had a sudden cardiac arrest.

Yesterday saw two persons fainted and collapsed at our Benak Run 2022. We were told that the first person that fainted and collapsed is doing well however, the second (Cikgu Lawrence) is now at Kuching Hospital Intensive Care Unit. Our thoughts and prayers goes out to the family and may he make a speedier recovery.

Although taking up sports is a commendable for your health in the long run. But if you have any underlying health issues, its best to consult your doctor first. On another note as advise by a season runner, "run at your own pace and always listen to your body". Another tips is, if your throat start to feel dry its best to slow down.
