🚩 Dive Safe This Labor Day Weekend! 🚤

During the long weekend, safety should be your top priority, especially with increased boat traffic on the water. Here are some tips to help keep you safe:

1. Always place the diver-down and/or alpha flag before diving. The flag can be attached to a float or mounted on a vessel and clearly visible from all directions.

2. Always surface within 165 feet (50 meters) of your dive flag, or close to the reef if there is one.

3. Use a surface marker buoy if an emergency requires you to surface far from the diver-down flag.

4. Watch your buoyancy, and avoid uncontrolled ascents.

5. While ascending, look around and be extra aware.
