ABOUT GRANDMASTER James Lim
A true living legend in the world of Taekwondo, Grandmaster James Lim Ching Sing is a 9th Degree Black Belt and President of Advanced TaeKwonDo International . His journey began in 1965 in Malaysia under the pioneering Grandmaster Choi Chang Keun, before training under another founding pioneer, Grandmaster Kim Jong Chan.
Grandmaster James Lim served faithfully alongside General Choi Hong Hi, the founder of Taekwondo, for 25 years as his personal assistant, travelling the world to teach and promote the art. He was appointed Director of the International Taekwondo Federation in 1984 and later Chairman of its Technical Committee in 1989.
Inducted into the TaeKwonDo Hall of Fame in 2013 as a Pioneer ITF Instructor, Grandmaster James Lim has dedicated his entire life to training others and promoting Taekwondo worldwide. He has also served as former Program Head of Close Quarter Combat for the Malaysian Armed Forces and was invited to teach various US Army Special Forces and Airborne units between 1994 and 1999.
