Bangkok Throwdown was our first overseas competition as an intermediate mixed team of 4 . Chin Hong, Johnking, Su Wen & Sze Cia, fully committed 🤍

As we know, being an athlete in adulthood isn’t easy. Despite polishing up required movements for intermediate division, careers, families, responsibilities yet they chose to train 5–6 days a week for 2.5 months to stand on this floor together ! for. the. first. time. It reminded them of the competitive fire they once carried, shaped now by experience, responsibility, and perspective.

Thank you Coach Chinhong for the programming, strategy, and leadership and for being part of the team, guiding them to bring out the best in each other.

Further, would love to extend our gratitude for the sponsors who supported their accommodation and photographer. Your support didn’t just help financially it gave them peace of mind and the courage to push their limits overseas. 🫱🏻‍🫲🏽🫱🏻‍🫲🏽

Throughout the game, not in a perfect start but steady progress, they finishing Top 15 after 3 days at BKTD ! Progress earned 🥹
🔹6 events over 3 days.
🔸Top 5 finishes in 2 events.
🔹12th out of 30 teams.

But more than results, they gained belief, connection, and memories they’ll carry forward.
You guys rock ! 🤜🏻🤛🏽

This may be our first mixed team of 4 from SUKAFiT but it won’t be our last ! See ya again in future comp floor

New Chapter: 𝗠𝗶𝘅𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗼𝘂𝗿 heading to Bangkok Throwdown and this one feels truly special🔥

We don’t always train in the same class or the same hours… but every session, each of us worked on our own weaknesses. Slowly, without noticing, we grew from fitness fundamentals to athletic performance through countless hours with our coach, and those weekly team sessions where everything started to click.

Now it’s time to test not only our fitness… but our teamwork, our timing, and our ability to move as one.

Behind this team are commitments & consistency effort after work, supportive families, partners, and even kids cheering them on. And now their first ever mixed 4 team competition. 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝗻 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 !

🥂 It’s been 3 months, but the memories are still fresh like last weekend.

No title, no dress code. Just real stories, shared growth, and loud laughs. 😇😇 The only gathering without WOD throughout the year, so it’s a must annually, they said. Hah!

From WODs to awards, heartfelt sharing to quiet tears…
We all came as individuals, and left a little closer, a little stronger. The BOND. Keep within..

Here’s to the tribe that we lifts more than just weights. ✨ You never really know what someone is going through or why they keep showing up.

But a kind word, a smile, a little encouragement… might mean more than you think.

𝗟𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Big congratulations to our men’s novice athlete, for winning 2nd runner up! 🏆🔥 On Day 1, he crushed 3 events + 1 floater and was ranked 1st! what a surprise to see all that hard work pay off! ! 🤜🏻🤛🏽

As for our women’s novice athletes, out of 26
- never-sit-still Sze Cia finished in the top 6,
- otak gila Ling Ling ranked 12th, and
- tahan lasak Nubla placed 17th !

They all pushed past their limits, even unlocking new movement skills and hitting PRs in the clean complex floater event! 🎉 This competition floor brought out a vibe unlike any training session, and their progress truly shined.

𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂. It’s a fitness test worth taking even when you think you’re yet to / almost unlock certain movement(s). We’re beyond proud of every one of you team ! Congratulations!

This year, we are incredibly proud to have total 4 athletes stepping onto the competition floor with coach Hong & assist by Harn at the Thailand Throwdown, a CrossFit licensed event! 🇹🇭🔥

These individuals have shown immense courage and determination by taking on this challenge. Despite entering adulthood, juggling life’s responsibilities, and all the ups and downs of training, they’ve decided to push their limits and discover what they’re truly capable of. 🏃‍♀️🏋️‍♂️

𝗜𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆. It’s about testing their fitness, celebrating how far they’ve come, with grit and heart.
