This is my department: kinetic journaling.

You know the vibe.
Instead of yelling about change or endlessly discussing it (while doing the same sh*t)…we move it.

Here’s how that went down on the Baja retreat:

• No icebreaker breakout sessions —> just shared awe and a break from our lived daily bubble
• No “write down your big goal and bury it” —> go on a feral jog and clear the clutter in your ribs (and soul)
• No stuffing every minute with “transformation talk” —> we chilled, played, wandered
• The anti-group-fitness rah-rah —> we slowed down to dial up real effort
• No talk of calorie deficits —> just chef-made meals that fueled work + rest
• No mindset monologues —> we downloaded Silent Playlists internally
• Call it what it is: kinetic journaling through play, sweat, rest, and awe

We FELT.

(So good, I’m doing it again. Baja 2.0 early December. Drop a 🌵 if this is your next thing 🤩)

Pack to feel! Main character energy packing list for wellness & fitness-y retreats:

1. Whimsy read + one reflective tool..Avoid the self-help bender. Mix fiction/escapism + feeling/insight! (Loving journal!)

2. Mood-enhancing workout sets (I also like enchanting!) Wear sets that say “I take up space.” ( for mine)

3. Something analog (journal, book, watercolor)
Make room for boredom, flow, or creativity.

4. Turkish robe. Doubles as a beach coverup, a spa-vibe without the $, and
a statement piece. Are you kidding me? This might be #1

5. Skincare touches that actually care for your skin & lifts you up - SPF, Tower28 spray, a scent that grounds you. (Both ritual and routine!)

6. Shoes you can explore in and kick off instantly. Because barefoot is an underrated wellness protocol! Plus a hat and reusable water bottle 💦

7. A blank journal or “Leading Lady/CEO You” notebook
Even if you only write one line: “I deserve to feel good.”

8. Eye mask + PJs you’re excited to sleep in
You didn’t retreat to scroll. Rest like you mean it.

Bonus
- An elite travel sweat set (hi )
- Protein packets for balance after all the fresh fruit ()
- A tiny candle, a lip balm you love, and one thing that makes your space yours
- Workhorse cross training shoes that you can throw on for a quick strength workout, intervals, long walks, short feral jogs

What else??

My no BS, anti noise back to basics retreat is less than three weeks away && it’s alllll I can think about. 😍

Sometimes travel turns into a new location for your stress habits. More control. More checklists.

My rule? Protect your energy like it’s your passport. Go after the feeling you actually want to bring home (even a little).

Booking a reset yourself? Amazing. Ask away for ideas.
Just don’t go on a self-help bender.

Can’t wait to sweat barefoot with my people soon 🏜️

I get so so excited for all the “Where to Travel Next Year” lists this time of the year. I read travel articles like it’s my morning coffee and start plotting what we can see but more importantly… what we can feel.

This year I’m lucky.
These 6 live in my body and my coaching (it was hard to pick , ask me about any of these places 👀)

1️⃣ Kayaking Ometepe Island, Nicaragua
Secret-river vibes, ospreys, lush green, glassy zen water. I was rowing, rowing, waiting to find the “entrance” then…we arrived and awe washed over.

Kinetic lesson: Moving your body in new landscapes helps your brain raise standards for what’s possible.

2️⃣ Hvammsvik Hot Springs, Iceland
Hot and cold in a fjord, mountains staring back, one big full-body exhale (plus a casual glacier hike). I would go back to your with any time)

Kinetic lesson: Heat, cold, and breath aren’t “biohacks” they’re focus tools. Strength lets you say yes when adventure pops up.

3️⃣ Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Rica
Day one of my retreat: watching my guests play in the ocean before I joined them and thinking, “I’m in the right place. I can and will lead retreats.”
Kinetic lesson: Sweat + play is a language we can share anywhere in the world.

4️⃣ Clear Creek, Golden, Colorado
Pull-ups, sprints, cold creek nearby. Pure effort and sunshine 20 minutes from home.
Kinetic lesson: “Retreat energy” doesn’t need a plane ticket. Environment + movement can flip your whole day.

5️⃣ Cenote Hopping, Homún, Mexico
Tuk tuk, no plan, dropping into glowing blue water and caves outside Mérida. Slightly chaotic, totally free.
Kinetic lesson: Playful, slightly unhinged adventure is regulation.

6️⃣ Zero F*cks Day, Joshua Tree
Remote cottage, desert jog, weird critters, skinny dip, watercolors, reading. No schedule.
Kinetic lesson: Down time isn’t lazy when your body is leading the plan.

These six live in how I program, coach, and build retreats.
Baja is next and I CANNOT WAIT. I have a feeling it’s going to alter a few brain chemistries too. 😉

✨ Save this for future travel plotting and tell me:
Where are you going next or where should we go together?

Silent Playlist Wrapped 🎧

I can’t hear music but this year, after losing my dad, these silent playlists helped me grab life by the horns or hang on when nothing else worked.
Rep by rep. Word by word.

That’s how I know this works.
You deserve hype, focus, strength
and a way back to yourself.

Save this for when you’re ready to jam with yourself. Your body is a better DJ than Spotify anyway!

Deaf gains you can gain, part 2!!

You wouldn’t believe what I can see in your workouts.

I see the moment your eyes drift and you disconnect from your body.
I see you scrolling for the “right” playlist instead of staying with the rep or working on your breath.
I see the exact second you move just to move, not to work hard.
I see your tension melt away when you’re watching the clock or waiting to be told by your trainer what’s next.

I’m not saying you need to ditch music or external support forever.

But there’s a skill waiting in the quiet.
Physical. Mental. Nervous system-level power.

Try one silent workout this week.
Face yourself between the reps.
Train without noise and meet your own strength!

🖤 Save this if you’re ready to lift with presence.
📩 Share it with the one who’s always asking for playlist recs.

This first video is silent cue but your back will hear it loud and clear 🤟

If your row looks more like an elbow shooting for the stars… slow it down. Form first. Then, the remix!!

My 1–2 Trick for a real row:
1️⃣ Shoulders back (no elbows yet—squeeze the back muscle)
2️⃣ Then the elbow follows
🚫 No shoulder creeping forward

Most people lead with the elbow and miss the whole point: back engagement.

Once you nail that? You get to expand your row playlist:
👇 SWIPE for:
1️⃣ Standard dumbbell row (aka the classic you should actually master)
2️⃣ Row with a pulse (hi, time under tension)
3️⃣ Gorilla rows (power + posture)
4️⃣ Quad plank renegade row (knees bent, tension on, no excuses)

Master the simple before you remix it.
That’s how you earn the fun stuff without chaos in your programming!

👻 A few things I should say more - it’s not always about falling in love with working out or the perfect plan - it’s what you will do for you!

If any of these hit a a nerve - hold this truth bomb to heart and build from there!

Drop a 💣 if one lands or share for truths we need 😚

You DO NOT need to reinvent yourself to feel more A‑Game.

You might just need to admit your step count is low, your fiber is lower, and you’ve been staying up too late watching Brooklyn 99 reruns again. 👋 Hi.

That was me at the end of August.
Not falling apart. Just a little off.

I didn’t start a new protocol!
I didn’t restrict.

I tweaked to see how it goes:
- Walked more
- Added a scoop of fiber (like wow okay psyllium husk)
- Kept fresh fruit on the table
- Rotated Oreos with peppermint tea and dark chocolate
- Set a (still late, but intentional) TV cut-off
- Treated every lift and run like a ritual on a flexible weekly schedule that fit my threshold

No detox. No drama.
Just quiet shifts and a recommitment to the basics.
Spoiler alert: I am loving it.

You are the best damn supplement of all so give yourself a shot with the basics 💜

No-fuss reset from Palm Springs, part two:

Another protocol idea:
Float and flirt with life (and your next idea). Bright bird floaties recommended.

Rest because it feels good—not because it was earned.
I worked out and slept in when I wanted to.
Let my body lead the whole time.

You can live soft without shutting down your strength.

Can’t wait to share more no-fuss rituals + retreat ideas you can take with you at home or away.

—> iconic & playful and so easy to fly in and out!

Unfiltered reset (and truth) from the desert, part one:

You don’t always need a big revelation!

Just the slooowest of slow mornings.
Lounging.
Wandering without expectations.
Too many books.
A feral desert run, washed off with a topless dip (spiritual!!)
Stargazing without needing to journal about it (gasp!).

No pressure to transform.
Just letting your nervous system chill and sweat.

Sometimes desert dust in your sports bra and wild free rinse can be the protocol 🤫 😘 🏜️
