Alright folks, coach Pete is about to start a new travel ball team organization. If you have any nephews, neighbors, or anyone interested in joining a travel ball team, send them my way. We will be headquartered in Downey, CA. Say what you want about my coaching style but you already know that our team will be kicking ass like Bruce Lee sooner than later. My plan is to do it for ages 7u-11u.

This page will soon change its name to Socal Jays Elite.

Greetings A's baseball families. I have been running the Socal Travel Ball page for the past 6 or 7 years. This is the first year I started doing a Summer Baseball Academy for Ages 4-6, 7-8, and 9-10 (even 11-12s).
If you have a younger child looking to improve their skills bring them to the Session 2 of the Summer Baseball Academy. It starts on Tuesday. Classes are on Tuesdays/Thursdays at 9am n 10:45 for the 7-10 group.

Teeball classes are in the evenings at 6:15pm on Wednesdays. I am also doing private lessons for pitchers. You can also do a small group instruction for $15. My Wednesday 5pm class is full. I Still have room at 9am. If you want a private lesson I am available in the evenings Tues/Thurs/fridays. And on Weekends.

Good stuff!
Fernando has committed to Marymount California University to play for the Mariners these next 4 years. Mariners are getting a very versatile player who can pitch and play outfield. I would like to thank him for the last 2 years he has played for us and wish him the best in college. Don't sleep on those A's!

Today was the last game of the regular Fall season for 2019 which was played at Cal State LA in an 18u Wood bat league. This league put us up against some solid competition all season long. The games were all closely fought. Excellent work by all who stuck with the grind.

We had contributions from players from the following high schools this season: Bell, Bell Gardens, Montebello, Schurr, South Hills, Warren, Downey, Roosevelt, Cantwell, St. John Bosco, and South El Monte.

We had 4 HS seniors, 1 Freshman, and the rest were Juniors and Sophmores.

Players: Stay tuned for the November/ December schedule.

High School Baseball is over, we are ready to start playing summer ball once again. Most returners will be back for this Summer/ Fall run, with one or two additions. Max capacity will be 15.
