We’ve been waiting for this moment! 💙🚤

Watching Mary Beth I roll down that ramp and touch the water for the very first time was pretty exciting for all of us.

Our Pelagic Ventures family is growing, and we couldn’t be happier to welcome the Mary Beth I to the fleet alongside the Mary Beth.

We can’t wait to get her out on the water and start making some dive memories with all of you! 🌊🤿

🌊 It’s time to give another section of Cozumel’s reef a little rest.

Cozumel’s rotating reef closures give heavily visited areas a break from diver and boat traffic, allowing the reef ecosystem time to recover while we explore other incredible dive sites around the island.

It’s good for the reef—and good for diving. With so many different sites to choose from, there’s always something new to explore while another part of the reef gets some well-deserved downtime.

A little green turtle cruising the reef in Cozumel. 🐢💙

Green sea turtles get their name from the greenish color of their body fat—not their shell! As juveniles they eat a varied diet, but as they mature they shift toward seagrasses and algae.

This little one still has plenty of growing to do—adult green turtles can reach 3–4 feet long and weigh several hundred pounds.

Meet the permit! 💙 These powerful, silvery fish can grow to around 4 feet long and are often spotted cruising Cozumel’s reefs, sandy areas and seagrass beds.

They’re fast swimmers, but when they’re just cruising the reef, you sometimes get a great chance to slow down and admire them.
