My decision to become an expert in growth began with being challenged by my own circumstances-
I was always small, overlooked.
But then I got even smaller when a car accident put me in a coma, all the while, the doctors are filling me with metal plates and rods and screws.

When I came out of it, I became a victim to those circumstances-
Unable to be anything but the girl that 'couldn't.

That was until I no longer wanted to be defined by what I couldn't, and instead, chose to become defined by what I could overcome.

I gained 20+ pounds on my small 92lb body.
I lifted 5 pound weights until they became 10, 20, 25...
I walked with a cane until I could finally walk without it and then walked every day until I could run.
I said I could, even when I couldn't, until finally I proved that I really could.
I put in the work to become who I wanted to be, instead of letting myself be defined by what they told me I would be.

And in turn, I learned that being a victim to your circumstances was a choice, not a fate.
Becoming assertive in your life to a point where you can manifest the power to say 'I can' even when the fear of failure makes you think that you can’t — is the missing piece in your self-development.

I became an expert in this space to help women like you, face the circumstances that seem impossible to face and overcome on your own.

I talk about failure a lot with my clients— in this perspective specifically.
❌Failure is imminent.❌
When you think about it, you are bound to fail at SOMETHING because we can’t possibly be good at everything.
So, why do we try SO HARD not to fail?
When we consciously make choices, we do so in avoidance of failure and therefore, hold back our truest, fullest potential. All in an effort to protect ourselves from the fall if we do in fact fail.
👉Just take weight lifting increases as an example— it’s more common to do one rep and say ‘whew that’s hard, I can’t do that’ than to push through until you fail.
Or even more common— simply pulling it off of the rack, subconsciously feeling intimidated, and putting it back without ever giving yourself the chance to try and fail or try and succeed.
This plays into lifestyle choices in much the same way— we let simple opportunities in which we could apply ourselves to transform into insurmountable intimidation that makes us believe we don’t have what it takes, and therefore we will fail.
… we actually can’t predict the future so why would we ever believe we COULDN’T succeed?
What if we possessed the understanding that no matter how far we fall when we fail, we would still get back up and stand stronger and more capable than before— do you think we would try harder in the face of failure, rather than work so hard to simply avoid it?
🧠 As this week comes to a close, I challenge you to practice self-awareness and overcome the natural tendencies that compel us to avoid failure.
Even when you think you might fail— give EVERYTHING you have to give.
Pack up your fear and move forward to face failure.

I just finished having a conversation with a client about how she has ‘always been this way’.
And I asked her, “but do you like and accept where you are now as a result of ‘who you have always been’?”
When you look at who you are, you have to challenge yourself to also look at—
☝️the things that you struggle with
☝️the environment that you live in
☝️the opportunities that are available to you
☝️the way your body functions and responds to your habits and tendencies
And then evaluate— is WHO and WHAT I am, and always have been, HELPING you, or HURTING you?
Sometimes, who we choose to be is the single most limiting limitation that keeps us from growing into who and what we were hoping to become all along.

👉if you want to thrive, surround yourself with inspiration, creativity, affirmations, and opportunities.
If you continue to surround yourself with opinions that differ from yours, judgement, and obstacles that work against you, you will feel trapped, unsure, and insecure about moving forward.

This is the heaviest that I have ever been. 👉Swipe.
You see this physical transformation; this physical growth.
You see physical change.
But what you don't see is the person that I used to be and what I had to fight through to become who I am today.
I'm not who I used to be.
I used to be so self-conscious of my thighs, I would never wear shorts.
I used to be so saturated with dreams of BECOMING somebody, that I didn't even know who I really was.
I used to work so much, eating was an afterthought that rarely came.
I used to be so stressed that it felt like a normal habitat.
I used to cry every day.
I used to think that my body would always be what it was, because that's what I was born with.
I'm not who I used to be.
Because the me that I used to be chose to evolve, to grow, to change.
And I did that by:
👉Learning about who I wanted to be and what characteristics built and defined that savage woman
👉Educating myself on the things that build a healthy internal environment (like drinking water and eating enough food)
👉Saying no to the things that didn't serve me and standing up to the things that stood against me
👉Choosing to accept opportunities even when I didn't feel ready to perform optimally
👉Becoming aware of my thoughts, my feelings, and my needs so that I could always provide for myself
👉Accepting that my physical body would change according to certain stimuli and it was my responsibility to manipulate the stimuli to satisfy my health FIRST
❌Stop looking at your growth journey like you just want a bigger butt.
✅Growth is about becoming aware, becoming educated, and becoming better than you used to be.
