Two steps forward. One step back.

🏃‍♀️ You’re exhausted but you can’t figure out why nothing is moving.

Burnout isn’t about working too hard.

It’s about friction — between the future you’re building and the past that keeps pulling you back.

No matter how fast you run, or how well you perform, something won’t let you get there.

That’s not a productivity problem.
That’s an old wound asking to be felt and healed.

The way out isn’t to push harder. Escape harder.

It’s to finally face the parts of you still believing that you’re never be good “enough”.

Your past doesn’t have to take you down.
But it does have to be heard and held by you.

If this landed, save it — and drop a 🔥 below if you’re ready to stop running.

I recorded this at the pool with zero strategy or plan.

No intention to post.
No script.
No expectation.

Just a moment where I felt alive and had something to say.

And it got me thinking about burnout.

What if burnout isn’t always a sign that you’re doing too much?

What if it’s a sign that you’re spending too much energy on things that don’t actually feed you?

We’re taught to cast the net wider.

More goals.
More achievement.
More money.
More recognition.
More productivity.

And it doesn’t actually hit the spot.

Because sometimes the answer isn’t wider or bigger.

but...DEEPER

Deeper into what matters.
Deeper into what makes you come alive.
Deeper into who you are beneath the performance, when you disregard all the roles, rules, expectations, and perfection.

Maybe burnout isn’t a failure.

Maybe it’s an invitation.

An invitation to stop asking, “How do I become more? How can I get more?”

And start asking, “What is meaningful to me?”

Because the things that nourish your soul don’t usually leave you feeling depleted.

They leave you feeling more at peace with yourself.

So I’d love to know…

What is one thing that matters to you?

This is the reality that so many women are living every single day.

“You don’t get a break.”
“You don’t have a choice.”
“This is just how it is.”

And eventually…
your nervous system starts believing it.

That’s what burnout really is.

Not just exhaustion.
Not just overworking.

It’s when your body no longer feels safe inside your own life…

while simultaneously feeling trapped with nowhere to go.

And you can try to figure it out mentally…

BUT if your body is frozen in fear, powerlessness, and self-abandonment…

Nothing will actually change.

And you will unconsciously recreate your cage everywhere you go.

But there is hope. THERE IS CHOICE.

It’s in the one place you’ve not actually looked.

And I’m here to show you the way.

❤️if this landed and you want to hear more.

Burnout isn’t weakness. It’s the part of you that’s exhausted from performing for acceptance, belonging, safety — from the moment you decided you were too much or not enough.

The antidote isn’t a nap or a new job.

No amount of rest or changing your environment will change the belief that you have to earn (and keep earning) your place in this world.

It’s recognizing the survival pattern that has you abandoning yourself over and over again.

When you reconnect with who you actually are — not who you had to become — that’s where the healing lives.

Want to be UNSTOPPABLE?
REMEMBER WHO YOU ARE.

Which part of this landed for you? The performing? The proving? The not being able to receive?

Burnout isn’t fixed by rest or quitting your job.

It’s fixed by rewiring the belief that you have to work harder than everyone else just to deserve what others have with ease.

You learned that you were the exception.

That you had to struggle, work harder to prove your worth and earn your place.

So you do. But it still doesn’t feel enough.

Because the real problem isn’t how much you’re doing — it’s the belief you carry while you’re doing it.

The finish line keeps moving.
Not because you’re not doing enough.

But because you were taught to run like you never will be.

Are you done chasing a finish line that was always out of reach?

What if burnout isn’t the end of something — but the beginning of you?

That restlessness you feel? That quiet rage living inside a life that doesn’t quite fit?

It’s not a problem to fix. It’s a portal. ✨

A portal to self-discovery. To redesign. To finally becoming who you were always meant to be.

I know it doesn’t feel that way right now. When you’re deep in the overwhelm, the fear, the anxiety — clarity feels impossibly far away.

But here’s what I’ve learned walking through my own seasons of transition:

the clarity is already inside you.

It’s just been buried under all the noise of who you thought you had to be.

This work isn’t about blowing your life up. It’s not as distant as it looks from where you’re standing.

👑 It’s about remembering. Peeling back the layers. And finding yourself on the other side — not broken, but more whole than you’ve ever been.

I’m here to walk with you through it.

Yesterday I worked with a doctor I’d never met.

He was angry. Saying things I wouldn’t repeat in public.

I didn’t judge him — because I’ve been that doctor.

Here’s what burnout actually is: #
It’s not exhaustion. It’s not selfishness. It’s not someone who stopped caring. #
It’s what happens when we don’t know how to meet our own needs.

Beneath every frustration is a need — for safety, belonging, love, acceptance.

When those go unmet long enough, we protect ourselves the only way we know how:

Complaining. Judging. Anger. People pleasing. Overachieving. Shutting down.
Sound familiar?

Burnout isn’t fixed by a vacation or a new job.

It’s healed when we learn to meet our deepest needs.
