Lately, along the entire Mexican Caribbean coast, we've had a recurring problem every summer: the arrival of sargassum seaweed, which pollutes our beaches and causes a considerable drop in tourism!

El curso **Open Water Diver de IANTD** es el primer nivel de certificación en buceo autónomo. Está diseñado para enseñar las habilidades, conocimientos y seguridad necesarios para bucear de forma independiente hasta una profundidad máxima de **18 metros (60 pies)**.

Durante el curso, el alumno aprende:

* Fundamentos del equipo de buceo y su uso correcto.
* Técnicas básicas de flotabilidad, respiración y comunicación bajo el agua.
* Planificación y control del buceo.
* Procedimientos de seguridad y resolución de problemas.

El curso incluye sesiones teóricas, prácticas en aguas confinadas y buceos en aguas abiertas. Al finalizar, el buzo obtiene una certificación internacional válida en todo el mundo.
