We teach freediving courses, organize freediving trips and snorkel tours to the best dive sites of Mexico. Pranamaya Freediving School offers AIDA freediving courses from beginner to Instructor level in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. We are not only a school, we also have trainings and fun excursion in the most beautiful dive sites of the Riviera Maya every day. Apart from that we also offer different

workshops, international competitions and other special trips all over Mexico. With over 30 athletes form over 19 different countries, Azul Freediving Challenge, our annual freediving competition, has become the biggest in North America. Come with us and dare to dive deep in your mind!

A peak into last year encounters with the majestic whalesharks (1/3)

Each year, we witness one of the planet’s most remarkable gatherings as whale sharks arrive in great numbers, often joined by graceful manta rays feeding on plankton.

We will be organizing full-day expeditions to meet with these amazing creatures. All our trips are guided by a professional freediver with a deep passion for the ocean and a commitment to the highest ethical standards and respect for marine life.

We’ll be starting this season end of May, be ready!
