Knowing your hand signals in diving is of utmost importance to be able to communicate with your dive buddy underwater.

Sure, we review the basic ones during our dive briefings - but there’s many more.

Always ask your dive guides for maybe locally existing hand signs for endemic species or any other meanings, there might be hand signals only used in a specific spot for a certain reason!
