Georgia law recognizes unborn children as “natural persons” — and that carries enormous meaning.
Under Georgia’s LIFE Act, state law defines a natural person as “any human being including an unborn child.” The law further defines an unborn child as a member of the human species at any stage of development while carried in the womb.
For Christians, however, the value of life does not depend on whether government recognizes it.
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” — Psalm 139:13
Scripture teaches that human life in the womb is already seen, known, and valued by God.
Laws can change. Courts can change. Political leaders can change.
But the biblical truth remains: every human life bears value because it was created by God.
