When we decided to put down roots in the La Ventana Bay, we knew that this place had to be shared with our family and friends. The land that Frijoles Y Sol resides on is, above all - magical. From the aqua blue water in the Sea of Cortez, to white-sand dune, and the epic cactus forest. We continue to be amazed by the living ecosystem that is continuously evolving. We feel like stewards of the land

, not owners and are committed to not only maintaining it's original infrastructure, but helping it thrive. We are an off-the-grid campground, completely functional by propane and solar energy. We have bathrooms with showers, and hot water. A kitchen block with refrigerator, stove and sinks. There are 2 geodesic domes set up for camping, and acres of land for tent-RV camping. The idea has always been - to bring together people we love from around the world and build a community together. Create memories and share this beautiful space with anyone who will make the journey:)
