🥊 BEING AN OLDER FIGHTER
As much as I’m still motivated, still enjoy competing and still want to fight, getting older brings a different kind of challenge.
It isn’t necessarily the younger opponents. It’s the responsibilities and distractions outside the ring—and how difficult it can be to bring your complete focus back to fighting.
When results don’t go your way, it’s natural to question yourself. It’s also possible to carry on for too long. But while I’m still enjoying the journey, I have no intention of officially retiring.
I might fight until I’m 90 if I still feel like it.
Every opportunity to step into the ring could be the last, so I intend to appreciate every second while I still can.
