| Founded by Maria-Teresa Solomons | Several years ago when I was thinking of how I wanted to express myself as a coach and educator, I knew already that I was interested foremost in human potential but also in the discipline that is needed initially, to be able to grow to our fullest. Technique in Blue came out of that thought. I had also been a long time practitioner of different forms of movement awareness over the years including martial arts and then yoga and I knew the importance also of flow. Within the idea of Technique in Blue emerged my logo using the well known Japanese calligraphy symbol, ‘Enso’. As calligraphy is a spontaneous, harmonious and expressive artform flow in each piece is different but complete in itself. When the Enso circle is closed, it expresses wholeness and perfection. When the circle is left open it symbolises the potential of becoming greater, that mastery is in growing. The Enso became my logo and Technique in Blue, the practice form I wanted to express in my teaching.
