😔👉 "For years, we all knew him as Godínez, that boy with a huge hat who would respond with incidents when the master Giraffes asked him a question. But behind that image was a man with a brilliant, sensitive and deeply generous mind: Horacio Gomez Bolaños. Chespirito's younger brother, yes, but also his right hand, his silent support, his creative partner. Horacio didn't just act once in a while... He organized the notebooks, produced the chapters, managed tours around the world, and even devised the entire Chespirito brand merchandise strategy. His passion was to make everything work from the shadows. He never sought out fame. He never wanted to steal a scene. He knew his place was that: to hold, to build, to make the laughter of millions possible. And he did it with a humility that today would be almost impossible to find.
Life took a bitter turn in the late 90s. A fall fractured his hip and left him with reduced mobility. He went from dynamic and multifaceted man to wheelchair dependent. And with the body, her soul also began to resent. Horacio entered into a process of deep sadness, a kind of silent mourning for everything he could no longer do. But then, in the midst of that darkness, a ray of light emerged: Televisa was preparing a tribute for his brother, and he was going to take care of the entire organization. He was back to doing what he loved, what made him feel useful, what connected him to his essence. He was excited like a kid. But fate, so cruel at times, played him its final card. A heart attack struck him on November 21, 1999, just as his soul seemed to want to fly again. He died at 69 years old... no interviews, no scandals, no exposure. His body was crem*ado in the utmost privacy, as he would have wanted. And though many say he lived in his brother's shadow, the truth is that Horatio was light. A discreet light, but essential. Like his character Godínez: quiet, elusive... but unforgettable. ”
