Great to see these 2-young men on the western fringe of section 2 with a great club choice without being trapped within the S2 borders or a sales pitch. *LESSON: Go to your best choice for information & that emphasizes off-season wrestling of the Olympic Styles- both practice room & Real developmental competitions; appears🦍WC is balanced. Returning state champion Landyn Shaffer will finish his final year of high school at Cobleskill-Richmondville. Shaffer will now join up with fellow Gorilla Grapplers club teammate Ashten Haley in Section II for their senior year.
Ironically, the Shaffer and Haley duo are also Binghamton commits and will head from Cobleskill-Richmondville back to Section IV for college.
This transfer will have huge implications for the team race at the individual state tournament, and will certainly favorably impact the power points and (potentially) state qualifiers Section II gets for future years.
