We all wear a lot of hats.
Mine are wifey, mom, friend, sister, daughter, clinical trial manager, health and fitness partner for Bodi, house keeper, yard worker (see pic here lol), bill payer, scheduler, etc etc
If there is one thing that makes me better in all of these roles, it is taking care of myself. I used to feel very lethargic. I often chalked it up to hypothyroidism, busy-ness, being a mom of young ones. So I committed to MY health and a small part of my day to take care of me (fitness/movement). Now I feel like I can do all these things and not dread it. (well I mean sometimes i dread some of it but you get my drift;) lol 😂
I love the simplicity of what I do. My accountability group/chat + workout program calendar I follow + meal plan I follow (for at least most of the time, with guiding principles). I have tried other things in the past that haven’t worked, like crash diets, meal delivery diets, even supplements that make (obviously) false promises.
What I do now works. Routine is everything. The support is everything. Feeling strong is everything. And I know that feeling more fit makes everything in my life better!
