ANIMAL TOTEMS: MY MAIN TOTEM – THE JAGUAR (OTORONGO) 🐆
Continuing the topic of totems, as promised, I will share about the first and foremost one — the Jaguar.
In the shamanic tradition of the Amazon, the jaguar is known as OTORONGO, a powerful spirit guardian, a guide between worlds, the totem of true healers and spirit warriors. It embodies strength, instinct, impeccable hunting skills, and profound knowledge of the unseen realm.
JAGUAR — BORN OF DARKNESS, MOVING TOWARDS THE LIGHT 🌑➡️🌕
The jaguar does not fear darkness; it thrives in it. It doesn’t flee from shadows but becomes their master. It doesn’t merely hunt — it merges with the night, blends into the jungle, moving silently like death itself. But its path is not one of destruction. The jaguar teaches acceptance, strength, and transformation, showing how to navigate through darkness without losing oneself.
In the ayahuasca tradition, where the jaguar is considered a spiritual warrior, it helps to see beyond illusions, hunt for truth, sever false ties, and delve into the depths of consciousness without fear.
GRAND GATO — THE SHAMANIC PATH OF THE JAGUAR 🛤️🐆
The jaguar was the first totem that came to me. It became a symbol of my journey, a guide to the spirit world, to the realm of healing. It taught me fearlessness, the pursuit of truth, the ability to enter the shadow without dissolving in it.
Therefore, the name Grand Gato is not just an image but a vibration of strength, spirit, impeccable movement, and deep knowledge.
The jaguar represents the path of quiet yet unbroken strength, the ability to see and act in silence, to be the master of one’s energy, and to live in harmony with deep instincts without losing awareness.
THE JAGUAR IN MY PATH 🐾
I walk with this totem. It leads me into the deepest layers of consciousness and helps free people from their inner predators — fears, shadows, blocks.
The jaguar will not let you run from yourself.
It will place a mirror before you.
It will make you look into the eyes of your demons.
And if you withstand this gaze — you will become stronger, you will become freer.
