Sometimes you don’t need a full day on the water—you just need to make the time you have count. 🎣

This group arrived in Cabo aboard a cruise ship with a fishing charter already booked with us, but delayed tenders threw a serious curveball into their plans. By the time they made it ashore and got to the boat, they had just 3½ hours to fish before they needed to be back aboard their ship.

Challenge accepted. ✅

We got them on the water, went straight to work, and before their abbreviated fishing charter was over, they connected with this beautiful Cabo sailfish! 🔥

From cruise ship ➡️ fishing boat ➡️ sailfish—and back in time to catch the ship.

When your fishing window gets cut short, you make every minute count.

Sometimes all it takes is the right crew. 🎣

Yesterday, Braden Eudy gave me a call looking for a last-minute charter. During our conversation, he mentioned something that caught my attention—he’d been fishing in Cabo 4 or 5 times with other operators and had never caught a single fish. 👎🏻

I told him, “Let’s see if we can change that.”

About an hour after leaving the marina this morning, Braden was locked into this incredible sailfish! 🔥 Watching that first billfish explode behind the spread and then seeing the smile on his face when it came alongside the boat reminds us why we love what we do.

It’s not always about luck. It’s about experienced crews and working to put anglers in the best possible position to succeed. 🎯

We put this mahi on the deck, and by lunch it had become some of the best tasting sushi ever, prepared at Arts and Sushi Restaurant.

It’s hard to beat the feeling of catching your own fish, then sitting down with friends to enjoy it while it’s still ocean-fresh.
