How I started in Cabo about 13 years ago.
I had to work with what I had just doing 6 bootcamps a day on the beach. Many thought I was crazy cuz the little they knew about my vision. I used to tell myself just get to be known, focus on providing values & serve the community. Now when I look back and consider all the areas in which Moduvated has grown, I realize they are all areas that are important to me: designing gyms, fitness, nutrition, motivation, empowering the next generation and impacting & giving back to communities. There is no passion of mine that isn’t somehow represented within my brand. Beyond blessed to have come this far, And with much farther to go We can’t slow down now. Praise be to God for his blessings

Since I moved to Los Cabos, one of my main objectives has always been to set Los Cabos as a primary Fitness-Wellness destination. Today I gotta say we took a big step towards that.

Very proud to bring my bro where everything started as a young boy. This used to be 1 of the roughest neighborhoods if not the roughest in Dakar. However I wasn’t gonna let my beginning determine my future.
We often confuse being proud of where we are from and using it as a handicap. I believe that if we are truly proud of where we’ve come from, the only way to show it is by leaving that place better than it was when you were originally there. This can be done in so many ways, but the most beneficial way is through the next generation. By inspiring the next generation of movers and shakers, we are building a better Africa. The greatest lesson I can pass on is not one that I teach but one that I live, so that a young boy could point to me (or any successful African immigrant) and say “He can do it, which means I can do it too”. In a lot of ways this could be enough, simply by being an example the seed is planted. However, when we do not live up to our full potential, and when we take for granted the many doors that are waiting to be opened we are subsequently slamming those very doors in the faces of the children that are so intently watching us.
Again as I always say “It’s not about where you are from but whom you choose to become”.
