A couple weeks ago she took the bull by the horns and crushed her first meet!

6/6, 1st in 64kg class, 2nd overall, 2nd overall sn**ch and 4th overall CJ

It was a fantastic first meet and I am proud of how she performed! Time to keep getting strong and crush more goals!

Let’s critique my old lifting video here.

First thing I see is a bad start position, shoulders right above or even slightly behind the bar with my hips too low

Second as soon as I pull I rock into my heels and then rock into my toes to finish the third pull, this will cause my horizontal hip pattern and put the bar forwards.

And then obviously there is the bar bouncing nonsense ( )

My first fix would be to start me at the high hang and transition into the hang position to teach me how to drive throw my full foot the entire lift and not rock. I would also work on lift offs at the same time to hit those two main parts

90% of the time I perform a heavy bicep curl after my bench press.

Why do I do that? Well because of reciprocal inhibition. It’s a little technique taught me.

Performing bicep curls after you bench press will increase your tricep strength, yes that’s correct, you can get stronger triceps by curling if done correctly!

Keep the reps low, the weight heavy and get some stronger triceps!
