"Off Day" in La Ventana led us 2 a sweet coastal singletrack network. Made our own route 2 get back 2 the divide this morning. 100 miles left!

Fast pavement ride to La Paz, wandered around, found giant fruit cups, coffee shop and an awesome seafood restaurant! Chillin here 2 days to rest the body!

Cake colored layers of rock and many miles of sandy washboards. Fresh shrimp from local fishermen and found the pavement. Smooth road to La Paz tomorrow.

Plans 4 big miles get a slap in the face from Baja.Climbs all day, even on the 2000' descent. Back 2 the sea 1 last time.Cake will have to wait.

Lazy day in the city & feeling refreshed! Loaded with food, coffee, gorditas, new socks & clean clothes. Back in the desert. Next stop La Paz.
