Why EFT Works🔮

When we experience a situation there is a signal and chemical sent to our central nervous system telling us that we are no longer safe. Trauma is more about how our nervous system feels in an experience then the experience itself at times.

When we do nothing following an event that has left our systems and mind changed, the trauma will just continue to sit in our body, becoming heavier and heavier. This is why people can spend years in therapy for the same thing without seeing any results of actually letting it go.

Tapping allows us to have a somatic release. It works because we are tapping on the energy meridians (think painless acupuncture) and moving the stored energy and trauma around allowing us to release it fully. This is why a lot of people will cry, scream and yawn during and after a tapping session because those all are serving as a way of release.
