On June 1st, the Lake Chapala Duplicate Bridge Club will be relocating to West Ajijic, to the Sol y Luna building on Rio Bravo, across from Casa Linda. A new beginning. The library of books and CDs will not be coming with us. Please take whatever interests you. Please do so before May 28th.

¡Qué bonito! 👴🏻💕 | Ella es Katya Echazarreta, la primera mujer mexicana en viajar al espacio el pasado 20 de mayo del 2022. La astronauta acaba de revelar a través de con la canción de fondo “Cielito Lindo” que cumplió su promesa de llevar las cenizas de su abuelo al espacio.

"Solía decirme: “¡Cuando subas que no se te olvidé saludarme!", relata la ingeniera en el clip, y añade: "Hice algo mejor".

El abuelo de Echazarreta falleció en 2021, antes de que ella supiera que iría al espacio.

Copied from Lake Chapala memory wall. Peggy Lord Chilton passed away on Thursday, September 1. Her daughter recently took her up North so she could be in a care facility nearby. Peggy was a huge asset to Lakeside Little Theatre (LLT), where she directed plays, acted in them and also contributed to Members' Nights with her amazing talent. She was also an active member of the bridge club and she will be missed by all who knew her.
