On the Julián Álvarez situation, I personally think Atlético Madrid are the victims.
Remember, he was at City and extended his contract until 2028. But just a year later he was complaining about not getting enough minutes. Then Madrid came in, made him the main man, and gave him a 6-year contract.

Now, only two years later, without winning anything with them, he wants to move to another club in the same league. Seriously, who does that?

I don’t blame Madrid for refusing to let him go to Barça. I’ve always liked him he’s talented. But if he doesn’t make the right decision here, it could really hurt his career.
