Valentine’s Day! How did yours go? Were you excited, bought flowers, sent a love message, organized a special occasion just for the two of you, or you joined a group of others who were in a celebratory mood for love? If none of these happened, does it mean you don’t have anyone special worthy to be crazy about, let alone give all these expressions of love that were being shared on this Valentine’s Day?
Love is a good thing. If you love someone you can’t wait to be with them or share everything special you have for them. It doesn’t matter whether the day is on the calendar, or it is just any other day. Of course the designated day just gives you the opportunity to show your love publicly or privately, but the love you have for this person is real.
Invest in your loved ones. Deposit love, expressions, actions, actual words. As is normal you have the expectation to receive back some of this energy given. If not then take a closer look at that relationship and draw out honest answers and conclusions. Love is reciprocated and not one sided. Love does only wait to receive, give out love, you feel better when you give. Honestly also to those who deserve it, the effort is so much it cannot be wasted.
As we wait until the next date when we are implored to give and receive love, let’s take a deliberate initiative to deposit into that love bank. To get back with some more on top. If the withdrawal machine is faulty don’t force matters because it will make you walk that love journey alone. If the withdrawal love machine is not compatible, close the love account, take time to scout until the right one ideal for you is available and working. Life is too precious to waste it on no go through roads. Life is too precious to keep patching. Love is truly beautiful and worthwhile with the right person in your heart and in your presence!
