SPORTS IS MONEY ORIENTED.
Media reports have it that sports is money rewarding provided there is quality goods and services.
This follows a 44.8 million kwacha lump sum made on Wanders Bullets derby showcased on Sunday 14th August.
Much that we all know that unemployment is thunder cracking mother Malawi sports is another underlying gold deposit to be extracted.However they are some factors to be systematically and scientifically considered.
As serious radio listener hardly a day passes listening to a popular jingle "Ulimi eeee ulimi, muliphindu eeee ulimi, ndi buzinesi eeee ulimi" meaning farming is bussines.This advert was coined at its centre stage when it came to realization that most country men were brainwashed that farming is subsistence instead of bring them money.
Borrowing a leaf from the Agriculture sector Sports is bussines as well.Mind set change must come in.Teams must have quality players and offer the best thus quality goods and services to fetch high gate collections on the market.Cormmencialize clubs to expand the capital base.You labour in vain in Agribusiness if there is poor management. Hahaha!!! yes sports management is the last factor but crucial to consider to harvest bumper happy returns.
On slow note sports lovers,let alone the youths there is money in the sports spectrum.Its up to you.

FLAMES FIRST GOALIE LAID TO REST.
Malawians of all walks of life whether soccer maniac or not regardless of religious,political and ethnic differences at the expense of biting economic hardships swaying them north,south,west and east paid their last respect to McMillan Kisyombe first goalkeeper for Malawi national football team formally Nyasaland XI.
Kiskombe succumbed to death on Wednesdays 3rd August due to respiratory dysfunctions.He hailed from Lupembe in the boardering district of Karonga and was laid to rest today 5th August in his home area.
In his eulogy Football Association of Malawi(FAM) Vice President Ortanire Hara divulged that there is life after football citing the departed Kisyombe as an example.Kisyombe was a holder of first degree in Agriculture economy obtained in France and also served as the first multiparty democracy legislature for Karonga central.
Taking his turn,CCAP Synod of Livingstonia Minister of Lupembe congregation Reverend Evans Mayola Msiska took mourners the gospel of Luke 10:17-20 blueprinted "have your name written in heaven".
Among others Senior Chief Mwirang'ombe made his eulogy as well.

CURRICULUM SHUN SPORTS.
Following my deployment to Rumphi district by Capital Hill as a primary school teacher the then Mhuju primary school Headteacher Mr Harawa appointed me "sports organizer".
Amama!!! It was drama kkkkkkkk.
Yes real drama in the sense that I never featured for sports teams at primary, secondary and college levels during my time not even,in 100m run.
Turning down the appointment offer would tantamount to insubordination.I had no choice especially that I was the very youngest teacher not only at school but also in the whole Consituency that year.Deployed to a school of 16 female teachers out 19,I thought netball coaching would be porridge at this post early childhood institution.To my dismay none of Lady teachers would show up for sports trainings.This was a tall order for sometime,untill I thinly learnt how to coach and officiate netball and football respectively coupled with use of resource persons.
I must confess here!!!! the country's curriculum for primary teacher education provides very little or nothing at all to amour primary school teacher with sports skills in both coaching and officiation.
To fuel matters worse,sports contents,core elements and rationale are too light in our primary school curriculum to I produce tangible sports players at the end of primary circle.This learning area(Subject) called Expressive Arts must be disbanded to Creative Arts,Physical Education, Sports and Music as was the case during Kamuzuism inorder to have textural subject matter.
Ministry of education must organize refresher sports courses for teachers in coaching,officiation and management if we mean it as a country taking Malawi to vision 2063.
Esteemed sports fans this drama is show on in our public primary schools to the extent that some schools don't not even have sports attire,balls and sports facilities themselves.
Hey!!!! get on the ground and appreciate this comedy.
