Rubber stamp makers, Pemba Rubber Stamps has committed to working with Mighty Wanderers FC for the next ten months where it will be awarding player of the month.
The company's managing director, Davie Pemba says the decision to renew partnership with Wanderers FC is based on the mutual trust between the two entities and the will to motivate the players work extra hard in spearheading the club to greater heights.
"This is our fourth season working with Wanderers. We are happy that the team is registering progress each season. Our collective resolve is to keep motivating the players for improved performance."
Pemba has since announced that his company has increased the monthly package from the previous season's K1.2 million to K1.5 million, with K400 000 cash going to the player of the month awardee and K1.1 million in form of scholarship for driving lessons at Pemba school of driving.
Director in the Mighty Wanderers 2021 Limited's board of directors, Chris Gondwe has since hailed Pemba Rubber Stamp for renewing the contract with Wanderers.
"On behalf of Club President, Dr Thomson Mpinganjira I would like to thank Pemba [Rubber Stamps] for the the continued partnership. It's not always easy to sustain partnerships for this long. As Wanderers we are going to support Pemba and we hope this partnership will even motivate our players to engage extra gear."
Through the partnership, Pemba Rubber Stamps will inject a total of K15 million. Meanwhile, Striker Lameck Mithi has become the first winner of the Pemba Rubber Stamps' player of the month in the 2026/27 season for emerging the best for the month of May.
The event was attended by director Chris Gondwe, head coach Bob Mpinganjira, team manager Sherry Msuku, finance and administration manager, Welloce Kachingwe, brands and marketing manager Greyson Chapita among others.
