Cristiano Ronaldo's Official statement:

“After the press conference of the national team, and following a conversation with the President of the Portuguese Football Federation, I have decided to leave the national team camp.

In time, I will tell all the Portuguese the truth about the reasons that motivated me to leave the national team, to which I always devoted myself.

Now is the time to wish Portugal and all my teammates good luck, without exception.”

Unbelievable scenes in the Gulf Cup. 🤯

Oman and Iraq were completely level after three games, including on every tiebreaker. Oman were set to go through on fair play after scoring, but the goalscorer took off his shirt during the celebrations and got booked.

That yellow card left both teams level on fair play, meaning qualification had to be decided by a draw.

Oman won the draw and are through to the semi-finals. 🇴🇲✅
