Whether at our house reef, with 4 marked entrances or at the over 60 dive sites, Baa Atoll offers a diver’s paradise – whether beginner or experienced diver. For the most individualized and customized service for our divers, the planning is done on a day to day basis. We offer daily half-day trips (1 - 2 dives), full-day excursions (3 dives), a s well as early morning and night dives. Outstanding dive sites such as “Donfan Thila”, “Dharavandhoo”, “Kihaadhoo Thila”, “Kuda Gaa Thila”, “UNESCO Thila” and many others in the vicinity, impress with their breathtaking biodiversity. The absolute highlight – because of its unique in the Maldives – is Hanifaru Bay. Every year between May and November, during the South West Monsoon there is a strong plankton formation in this bay. This extreme density of plankton attracts hundred of Manta Rays and maybe even some Whale Sharks. The spectacle is unique and should not be missed, if you are around the Baa Atoll at this time of the year. Since 2012, only snorkeling is allowed in Hanifaru Bay itself, but the numerous dive sites around Hanifaru Bay offer great possibility for divers to dive with the giants as well.

Safari Island is located in the northern half of the Ari Atoll and with a large number of varied dive sites, its beautiful house reef, marked with 4 entrances and the large lagoon - is the perfect diving paradise for everyone - whether beginner or experienced diver. The Dive Center, operated by "Joy Dive Maldives" with its team members, is looking back on over 20 years of experience in the Maldives. We offer a simple regulated and professionally organized diving operation. In view of a most possible individual service, we are offering daily half-day trips (1 - 2 dives), full-day trips (3 dives) and early-morning, as well as night dives. Great dive sites, such as "Fish-head" (only 12 minutes away) "Maaya Thila", "Orimas Thila", "Manta Point", "Fesdu Wreck" and many others in the surrounding area, offer breathtaking diversity of corals and fish. The absolute highlight and unique in the Maldives - is the possibility of an exclusive Private Dive Safari on one of the luxurious and traditional boats, with the possibility to reach the top spots of the entire Ari Atoll.
